Jewber docs

How Jewber works, for my friends, for me as the driver, and for anyone running their own.

These pages are how Jewber works, written down. If something here doesn't match what the app does, the app wins, and I fix the page.

Getting started

• What is Jewber?: what it is, who it's for, signing in, and getting the app
• Why I made it: the story, on the front page

For friends

• Getting a ride: where to, pins, the kinds of rides, booking for later, and the ride itself
• Paying, tips and reviews: PayPal and the other ways, the tab, chai rides, brachot, tzedakah, and rating me
• Your profile: your photo, the fun fields, profile pages, light and dark

For the driver

• Driving: on duty, requests, directions with a voice, and arriving
• The ledger: the money, who owes what, PayPal, the tzedakah jar, friends, and settings

The Jewish parts

• Shabbat and the calendar: closing for Shabbat and Yom Tov, the holidays, the parsha
• All the fun: every gimmick, and what it actually does

Under the hood

• The Android app: what the app adds, its notifications, and updates
• Running your own: the files, the settings, deploying, releasing, and the tests
